Subrata is an Architect and an Urban Planner with over 40 years of experience in architecture and community development. Currently, after his retirement from Miami Dade County, Florida as the Assistant Director of Planning and Zoning, Subrata has been serving in Belize as a United States Peace Corps volunteer in Business and Organizational Sector since June 2011.
He was instrumental in guiding the Mayor and Town Council of Benque Viejo del Carmen in developing a comprehensive strategic plan to create economic opportunities by positioning Benque as a destination of choice for tourism.
